Grafton, WI – Over 30 local nonprofit organizations gathered together to kick off the first Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC) Volunteer Fair on June 22, 2022. The event focused on celebrating the ONC’s yearly anniversary of their new location and building, while offering the community the opportunity to meet local nonprofits from around the county and hear about county wide nonprofit volunteer needs.

This event presented by Bank Five Nine and supported by Grafton Orthotonics, brought in over 100 individuals to the ONC campus.  Visitors to the fair were able to mingle with the following agencies and sign up for open volunteer opportunities: Adult Literacy Center of Ozaukee County, Advocates of Ozaukee, Alzheimer’s Association, Balance, Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters if Ozaukee County, Blossom IDD, Cedarburg Art Museum, Family Promise of Ozaukee, Family Sharing of Ozaukee, Forward Careers, Grafton Chamber of Commerce, Grafton Historical Society, Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee, IndependenceFirst, Interfaith Caregivers Ozaukee, Luxembourg American Cultural Society, Mequon-Thiensville Optimists Club, Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge, NAMI Ozaukee, Ozaukee County historical Society, Ozaukee Family Services, Ozaukee Masonic Lodge, Ozaukee Nonprofit Center, Port Washington-Saukville Rotary Club, Portal Inc, Riveredge Nature Center, Saukville Community Food Pantry, Sirona Recovery, St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus, Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts,

“So many nonprofit organizations are in need of volunteer work and support”, says Carissa Barnes, ONC Executive Director, “this event was an opportunity to highlight our nonprofits and bring awareness to their volunteer opportunies and needs.”
