Grafton, WI – The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center proudly celebrates the 2026 Ozaukee Impact Award winners and the meaningful donations made to local nonprofit organizations on their behalf. Presented by Bank Five Nine and The Simplicity Foundation, the annual Ozaukee Impact Awards recognize exceptional individuals, organizations, and community leaders who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to making a positive difference throughout Ozaukee County.
As part of the awards, each 2026 recipient was given the opportunity to direct a donation to a local nonprofit organization of their choice. This year’s donations were made to six local nonprofit organizations on behalf of the award winners:
- The Food Pantry, Inc. (on behalf of Joyce and Scott Brost – Volunteer of the Year)
- Horizon Grief Resource Center (on behalf of Cheryl Lingle – Legacy Award)
- Warriors Way (on behalf of Bank Five Nine – Community Stewardship of the Year)
- Adult Literacy Center (on behalf of Mike Cosgrove – Nonprofit Emerging Leader of the Year)
- Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge (on behalf of Family Promise of Ozaukee County – Nonprofit of the Year)
- Ozaukee Food Alliance and Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge (on behalf of Ozaukee Food Alliance and Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge – Community Collaboration of the Year)
These donations represent the continued spirit of collaboration and generosity that the Ozaukee Impact Awards were created to celebrate. By directing their award donations to local nonprofits, this year’s honorees are helping further the missions of organizations working to strengthen and support individuals and families throughout the community.
The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center established the Ozaukee Impact Awards to recognize and honor the individuals, organizations, and collaborations creating meaningful change throughout Ozaukee County. The awards celebrate the many ways our community comes together to make Ozaukee County a stronger place to live, work, and serve.
