GRAFTON, WI — Techquity Wisconsin, a statewide initiative focused on expanding access to technology and digital resources, has officially met and exceeded its goal of serving 30,000 individuals across Wisconsin. The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center is proud to have contributed to this milestone through its local Techquity program, which provided 566 laptops between 2025 and October 2026, helping individuals and families gain access to essential technology.

Access to reliable technology is increasingly important for education, employment, healthcare, and everyday life. Yet many individuals and families continue to face barriers to obtaining the devices and digital resources they need. Techquity Wisconsin works to address these challenges by expanding access to technology and helping bridge the digital divide across the state.

Through its local Techquity program, the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center has helped bring technology into the hands of community members who need it. By providing 566 laptops since 2025, the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center has supported greater access to digital tools that can help individuals pursue educational opportunities, connect with employment resources, access online services, and participate more fully in an increasingly digital world.

“Reaching and exceeding the goal of serving 30,000 individuals statewide is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to what can happen when communities work together to expand digital access,” said Jen Lane, Campus Operations & Client Services Coordinator of the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center. “We are proud that our Techquity program has contributed to this effort by providing 566 laptops to individuals in our community. Access to technology opens doors to opportunity, and we are grateful to be part of a statewide initiative working to make that access more equitable.”

The statewide milestone reflects the collective efforts of the organizations and community partners participating in Techquity Wisconsin. By working together to increase access to devices and digital resources, these efforts help create more opportunities for Wisconsin residents to learn, work, connect, and thrive.

The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center remains committed to strengthening its community through collaboration, resource sharing, and programs that address local needs.
