Grafton, WI – The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC) is proud to announce the success of its first-ever Ozaukee Baby Bank Raffle and Diaper Drive, which concluded on September 22 with a live drawing event.
Thanks to overwhelming community support, the raffle raised $7,275 toward the renovation and expansion of the Ozaukee Baby Bank. In addition, just over 2,000 diapers and pull-ups were collected at donation bins across Ozaukee County during National Diaper Need Awareness Week, as well as wipes, clothing, and formula. These contributions will directly benefit local families, helping ensure shelves remain stocked with the essentials parents need most.
The Grand Prize winner of $1,500 was Jerry Faust, with bonus $50 gift cards awarded to Terry Smirl and Kala Zornow.
“This campaign showed what Ozaukee County can do when we come together,” said Carissa Barnes, CEO of the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center. “Every ticket purchased, every diaper donated, and every dollar given helps us transform the Baby Bank into a brighter, more welcoming space and ensures we can continue to meet the growing needs of families in our community.”
The expansion project will reimagine the Baby Bank into a store-style model where parents can choose supplies with dignity and confidence, while also allowing ONC to serve more families as demand increases.
ONC extends heartfelt thanks to the Simplicity Foundation, local businesses who hosted collection bins, and the many community members who donated and participated in the raffle.
