GRAFTON, WI – The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC) is proud to announce that the Ozaukee Community Baby Bank will now be known simply as the Ozaukee Baby Bank.
While the name has been shortened, the mission remains the same: providing local families with essential baby items—such as diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food at no cost, while upholding the values of care, connection, and confidence.
“Our community makes the Baby Bank possible. Every diaper, every package of wipes, every donation goes directly to helping local families.,” said CEO, Carissa Barnes. “With this new name, we’re excited to carry our mission forward and invite everyone to join us in this next chapter.”
The announcement comes as the Baby Bank prepares for an exciting transformation. Plans are underway to expand and renovate the space into a welcoming, store-style environment designed to better serve families in need. The reimagined Baby Bank will provide a dignified experience where parents can select essential items with confidence, while also ensuring ONC has the capacity to meet the growing demand across Ozaukee County.
More details about the expansion and restocking efforts will be shared in the coming weeks. To help raise the necessary funds for renovation, ONC will launch a community-wide Baby Bank Raffle fundraiser on September 1. The raffle will align with National Diaper Need Awareness Week (September 15–21), which highlights the reality that 1 in 2 U.S. families struggles to afford enough diapers for their children. As part of the campaign, collection barrels will also be placed at several locations throughout Ozaukee County to gather baby supplies.
