Grafton, WI – the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC), a nonprofit organization that provides collaborative space and support to help sustain nonprofits in Ozaukee County, is excited to announce that Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) will be joining the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center campus at 2360 Dakota Drive in Grafton on October 1st.

LSS’s vision is healthy communities filled with people using their God-given gifts to serve. Their mission is to act compassionately, serve humbly, and lead courageously. LSS will be using their new space within Ozaukee Nonprofit Center to house staff members working in the Children’s Long-Term Support Waiver Program (CLTS). These staff members provide community supports and services for children who have substantial limitations in their daily activities and need support to remain in their home or community. Eligible children include those with developmental disabilities, severe emotional disturbances, and physical disabilities.

By joining Ozaukee Nonprofit Center, LSS becomes the latest addition to the ONC’s list of partner and affiliated agencies that includes Advocates of Ozaukee, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ozaukee, Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee, IndpendenceFrist, Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County, Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge, Sirona Recovery, Ozaukee Realtors Association, Mel’s Charities, Forward Careers, and Your Best Life.

“We are beyond excited to have LSS join our campus,” says ONC executive director Carissa Barnes “we know their addition to our campus will offer additional services that are much needed in our community.”
