The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC) is thrilled to announce a special $2,000 matching gift challenge from the Simplicity Foundation in support of the Ozaukee Baby Bank Raffle and expansion project.
From September 8–14, every donation made to the Baby Bank will be doubled dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,000 total. This means a $25 gift becomes $50, a $100 gift becomes $200 and every contribution makes twice the impact for local families.
“This match is an incredible opportunity to amplify community generosity and accelerate the Baby Bank’s transformation,” said Carissa Barnes, CEO of the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center. “Every dollar given during this window will stretch twice as far for local families, helping us restock diapers and essentials while building a more dignified space for parents to shop with confidence.”
The timing of this challenge is especially important as ONC prepares to participate in National Diaper Need Awareness Week (Sept. 15–21). Across the U.S., 1 in 2 families struggles to afford enough diapers, a basic necessity not covered by assistance programs like WIC or SNAP. Locally, the Ozaukee Baby Bank fills this gap by providing diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and baby supplies at no cost to families. Demand continues to rise, making both donations and expanded space critical.
In addition to the donation match, ONC’s Baby Bank Raffle is running September 1–21, giving participants the chance to win a $1,500 Grand Prize (plus bonus prizes) while directly supporting the Baby Bank’s expansion and restocking efforts.
