Cedarburg, WI – Illuminate Ozaukee, the annual drive-thru holiday light show presented by the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center, welcomed nearly 1300 visitors during its opening weekend after lighting up Herman A. Zeunert Park on Thursday, December 4. Twenty-five local businesses, schools, and community organizations partnered with the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center to transform the park with illuminated displays, creating a festive experience that celebrates community, creativity, and the county’s nonprofit sector.

“Illuminate Ozaukee welcomed close to 1300  vistors this opening weekend, and we couldn’t be happier with how it has come together again this year,” said Carissa Barnes, Executive Director of the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center. “The support we’ve received from the community and our participants is remarkable. We are grateful to create a light show that brings together businesses, volunteers, and nonprofits in such a joyful way. Our hearts are truly warmed by the effort and investment made by our participants. The show is a unique and fun experience as a result.”

This year’s plot participants include Blingle; Girl Scout Troop 8014; Just Listen; Family Promise of Ozaukee; Volunteer Ozaukee; PW Pride; Ozaukee Nonprofit Center Volunteers; The Blue Lotus Center; Faust Wealth Management; Happy Place Kitchen + Cedarburg Toy Company + The Spot; Habitat for Humanity – Ozaukee; Houseman & Feind – Trusts & Estates; Amish Craftsman Guild; Houseman & Feind – Family Law; Cedarburg High School – French Club; Kara Marie Boutique; Lueders Lawn Seeding & Trucking, Inc.; Tinsel & Pine Christmas Tree Farm; Cedarburg Pom & Dance; Parts Badger; Mr. Mover; Port Washington High School – DECA; Outdoor Accents; Ozaukee Baby Bank; and Digital Edge + Country in the Burg.

Illuminate Ozaukee is made possible through the support of generous local sponsors. Throughout the season, visitors can also connect with local nonprofits during featured agency nights, where donations made that evening directly support each participating organization. This year’s featured agencies include Just Listen, Luxembourg American Cultural Society & Center, Portal Inc., Cedarburg Pom & Dance, Happy Place Cooking Space, and the Ozaukee Baby Bank.

The light show runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout December, with additional nights on Sunday, December 21 and Monday, December 22. Admission is free, though a suggested donation of $20 per vehicle supports the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center’s vision to strengthen and illuminate Ozaukee County’s nonprofit community.
