Grafton, WI – the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC), a nonprofit organization that provides collaborative space and support to help sustain nonprofits in Ozaukee County held their open house and ribbon cuttong on June 16th for their new location at 2360 Dakota Drive in Grafton.

The open house was supported by five local Ozaukee County Chamber of Commerce’s – Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce, Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce, Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce, Mequon-Thiensville Cahmber of Commerce, and Saukville Chamber of Commer.

The in-person networking event saw over 100 people walk through the ONC doors from 4:30-6:30pm. The event allowed the community to meet the twelve partner and affiliated agencies working together on the nonprofit campus including Advocates of Ozaukee, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ozaukee, Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee, IndpendenceFrist, Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County, Mr. Bob’s Under the Birdge, Ozaukee County Home Energy+, Sirona Recovery, Ozaukee Realtors Association, Mel’s Charities, and Forward Careers.

“We are beyond thrilled to be opened and ready to welcome the community into our doors, it has been a long time coming”, says Carissa Barnes, ONC Executive Director. “The event gave visitors the opportunity to learn more about the ONC building, volunteer opportunities, and the nonprofit agencies, the services they provide, and the impact each make upon Ozaukee County each year.”
